Pollachi is beautiful town in the foothill of Western Ghat and around 40 km from Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. Ayyappan temple- It was built in 1970 and very similer to Sabarimala Ayyappan Temple.

Alagunachi Amman Temple- It was built in the early 16th century by the people of Valliarachal who established their Kul Dev (Clan deity) here.
Arulmigu Prasanda Vinayagar Temple-This is ancient temple of Lord Ganesha, believed to be 1000 years old. It is located 8 km from Pollachi town. Because of its nice location at the bank of Aliyar River and surrounded by lush green field with numerous Coconut trees, temple become very popular these days.
Masani Amman Temple – situated 24 km away from Pollachi. Here you can see Masani Amman Goddess of the temple in laying and holding skull and snake in her hands. This is quite famous temple in Pollachi and thousands of devotee come every day.

Topslip – Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary is 37 km from Pollachi which is commonly known as Topslip. This place is full of natural tourist spot that attract many adventure lover and photographer. It is surrounded by other wild life sanctuary like Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary, Eravikulam National Park in Kerala and Palghat Gap Separate it from Nilgiri Hills. Parambikulam Tiger Reserve – Its adjacent to the Indira Gandhi Wild Life Sanctuary, and famous for wild life in Kerala. This lie in the hilly region where no. of rivers flow through it like Parambikulam, Sholayar and Thekkady. These forests are also rich in sandalwood trees . There are various option to explore wild life here and many option to stay in the forest.
Valparai – It is Cherrapunji of South India located 65 km from Pollachi. It have average elevation 1200 mtr. This is rich region in Tea and Coffee plantation, mostly part of it is still untouched but these day Govt try to promote it as a tourist destination.
Aaliyar Dam – A reservoir located 27 km away from pollachi in the foothills of Valparai, It is a ideal picnic spot for family and friends. You can also explore an aquarium and a theme-Park nearby Dam.
